Corrigan Brothers tune into Nama
'The Nama Song' on YouTube

ALISON HEALY
They found fame with their song There's No-One As Irish As Barack Obama but now the Corrigan Brothers have turned their thoughts to Government economic policy with their latest single The Nama Song .
To the tune of Games People Play , the song speaks of developers gone bust, the Fianna Fáil tent and buying hot tubs with the proceeds of SSIAs.
The chorus runs: "Na na na na nama, na na na na nama, its gonna be you and me, that's gonna pay".
The video has been posted on YouTube, but it might not attract the five million hits that the brothers from Tipperary got when their song about Mr Obama became an online hit.
In January they were invited to perform during the the presidential inauguration, and they have appeared on chat shows in the US, Europe and the UK to sing the song.

Theres No One As Irish As Susan Boyle...

From Todays Mirror in the U.K

"Susan Boyle mania just keeps growing with the news that a song has been written in her honour.
Corrigan Brothers, who penned There’s No-one As Irish As Barack Obama - which was played at the US President's inauguration party - have repeated the trick for the Britain's Got Talent star.
They've recorded There’s No-one As Irish As Susan Boyle to similarly celebrate Miss Boyles' roots.
Susan’s parents are Irish and a practicing Christian, the West Lothian 48-year-old has sung regularly at Knock Shrine in Co Mayo.

Ger Corrigan lead singer with Corrigan Brothers said: "We are thrilled that the people of Knock Co Mayo discovered her talent long before Simon Cowell ,Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden did and the story must be told.
"Everyone knows that there’s no one as Irish as Susan Boyle".

Corrigan Brothers ...Lord Of the dance

From The BBC WebSite:Aled Jones ..Good Morning Sunday

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jrwgl

" Corrigan Brothers have been causing quite a stir on Good Morning Sunday recently! Ever since Aled featured 'There's No One As Irish As Barack Obama' there have been requests to hear more from the band. Well, for Easter, and especially for Good Morning Sunday, the Corrigan Brothers went into the studio to record Lord Of The Dance.
Gerard, Brian and Donncha who make up the Corrigan Brothers have been playing music together since childhood. But it wasn’t until 2008 and the song “There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama” that they found international recognition. Following an appearance on the BBC1 Andrew Marr Show the brothers were given an invite to perform at President Barack Obama’s inauguration. As well as chart success, the Corrigan Brothers have attracted over 5 millon hits on youtube. They were introduced to the UK radio audience by none other than Aled Jones and Good morning Sunday, who followed it up with the worldwide premiere of the song “Jesus Freak”. The brothers have just completed their first album – and a copy “An Irish Man invented Rock and Roll” has been sent to President Obama. The brothers are currently planning a summer tour schedule that will see them play Ireland, the UK and USA."
